What Is OKX Web3 Wallet & Crypto Exchange In The Netherlands All About?

The most popular OKX has come up with its Web3 wallet and Crypto Exchange in The Netherlands to expand its services in the country, making it accessible to everyone. 

In its announcement (made on 3rd June 2024), OKX revealed that it will avail more than 150 cryptos, spot trading, convert services to customers in The Netherlands, and even offer more than 60 crypto-euro pairs. 

The exchange integrated with iDeaL, a local payment processor, to provide deposits and withdrawals in EUR for users in the Netherlands. Users of OKX in the nation will now be able to conduct quick and free transactions in EUR. In the same way, the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) is part of the exchange’s payment system for nationals.

Furthermore, OKX now has a regulatory license from the Netherlands’ central bank, De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB), as a result of its countrywide development. In addition to the spot trading function, OKX provides users in the nation with an easy way to access the cryptocurrency market.

Erald Ghoos, OKX’s general manager for Europe, shared his views about the OKX’s involvement in the Netherlands. According to the proposal, the introduction of the crypto exchange and Web3 wallet of OKX in the Netherlands is a huge milestone for achieving the country’s goals in the future. The general manager said that the exchange first started operating in the Netherlands as Okcoin Europe after registering with the country’s central bank, but after rebranding, the exchange started running full operations in the Netherlands in April.
