Refund Of $311,400 To Be Given To The Trump Campaign

Bitcoin Trump Campaign Political Donation To Give A Refund Of $311,400

In a mindblowing news update, the Winklevoss Brothers have returned an excess of $311,400 to the Trump Campaign as the contributions reached the maximum legal limit.

The $1 million in Bitcoin that Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss contributed to the Trump campaign each went above the $844,600 cap on individual contributions to political campaigns.

Each of the twins was given an excess amount of $155,400. This Bitcoin donation which has been accepted by the Trump Campaign, clearly reflects Trump’s interest in the cryptocurrency niche.

The Republican National Committee, 42 state GOP organizations, Trump’s campaign political action committee, and his campaign are the recipients of the funds.

These gifts came in after Trump sided with the cryptocurrency community and opposed Democratic attempts to regulate the sector. The well-known Bitcoin investors, the Winklevoss twins, have publicly endorsed Trump and called him a “pro-Bitcoin” and “pro-crypto” candidate for office.

Even after all this bustle regarding the political donations, the twin brothers are in support of Trump, considering him to be the protector of crypto regulations. Gemini, by the Winklevoss Brothers, has also been in a clash with the US, NY, and lawsuits like the SEC.

However, what the future of crypto looks like in the US is something worth keeping an eye on!
