Over the past three months, Donald Trump’s investment in cryptocurrencies has surged from $510,000 to around $32 million. This increase has been witnessed in memecoins. In TROG, TRUMP, ETH, and WETH he has diversified his investments across several tokens and they all have notable holdings too.
Trump’s Crypto Holdings Soar to $32 Million
Trump owns 210.345 billion TROG tokens, which account for over half of this crypto coin’s total market capitalization estimated at around $36M giving a significant over-concentration on one coin in his investment portfolio. Trog costs about $0.0001 for every coin, and yesterday alone there was an increase of about 160% following the revelation by his supporters about his huge investment in it. Trump also holds large amounts of another token called Tramp worth $7.61 million, with 579.29 thousand tokens priced at $13.13 each.
Major Investments in Memecoins Revealed
It seems that most of Trump’s income comes through donations and projects that air-drop tokens into his wallet as well as receiving licensing fees from the TRUMP NFT collection he operates internally (2019). Because no other market participants is buying or selling them when he wants to do so or they do it rather rarely but him given this problem since such coins have Nassim Nicholas Taleb. For instance, TROG was traded at a volume worth 20 million dollars only yesterday which makes it hard enough for him to sell all his coins at face value instantly hence this is just part of the story.
He owns 471.79 ETH Ethereum, priced at $1,80 million and 374.974 WETH Wrapped Ethereum valued at $1,43 million. MVP, CONAN, BABYTRUMP and ELON tokens are some of his other important resources.
