The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has officially listed VanEck’s Ethereum ETF under the ticker symbol “ETHV”. This is a significant step in receiving a final Ethereum ETF Approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
VanEck’s Ethereum ETF has not yet been activated on the DTCC website and hence, processing is not possible until regulatory clearances are received.

Are Ether ETFs The Only One To Be Listed On DTCC?
Ethereum ETF is not the first one to be listed on DTCC.
Here’s a list of the others that are already a part of it-
- Franklin Templeton’s spot ETH ETF was listed in April
- DTCC includes both activated and unactivated ETFs that cannot be processed.
The New York Stock Exchange and Options Exchange will update and modify current spot Ether ETF applications.

Political factors are thought to have played a role in the SEC’s recent positional shift, with cryptocurrencies becoming successful in the world of politics in recent months. Keeping in mind the upcoming US elections, former president Donald Trump’s support for cryptocurrencies is said to have forced the Biden administration to reconsider its stance.
The final date for the SEC’s decision is May 23 in regard to Ethereum ETF Approval.
